My weight loss journey (Week 224)

Hi guys; I hope you're all well.

It's currently Sunday the 26th of April 2020 and welcome to week 224 of my weight loss journey.

In last week's video we all saw I had a second consecutive week of maintaining at 164.

8 kilograms which is 363.

2 pounds or 25 stone 13.

2 pounds.

And of course my Body Mass Index (BMI) was at 48.

2 Just like I always do I'm going to start the proceedings off by reviewing my calorie consumption for the past week, which we can see in the graph above.

The average of this was 2, 263 compared to last week at 2, 470.

So another week within my calorie allowance, well within it this week.

I still have my blips on the weekend, but during the rest of the week I didn't eat as much and.

I'm well within it.

It's not been as low as that for quite a while.

My fluid consumption though, has gone upwards to 3, 427 millilitres just short of the 3, 500 millilitres.

That I like to achieve.

.

.

.

try to achieve each day and as an average overall for the week.

But if we now move on to my step count which you can also see in the graph above.

The average of this was 10, 868 compared to the previous week at 8, 471.

So it's back above my 10, 000 mark and I've managed to fit in those extra steps.

As a result.

.

.

yeah last week my feet were being hammered, this week my jeans have been taking a hammering.

And I've now worn two big holes on the inside of my thighs, on both sides so.

.

.

.

.

.

I can't win can I, if it's not my body it's my clothing and it's my favorite pair of jeans as well.

That's now got two big holes on the inside of my legs.

It's that time of the week where we all get to see if I've managed to lose any more weight.

So here it is guys, here's my weigh in.

I now weigh 164.

3 kilograms which is 362.

3 pounds or 25 stone 12.

2 pounds.

This means in the last week I've seen a loss of 1 pound 0.

5 kilogram.

Happy with this and obviously I can't compare my Slimming World result.

Because that is still shut down due to the lockdown, so yeah not nothing I can do there.

So that's gonna stay as a maintain result.

This weight loss now means I've lost 78.

9%.

.

of the weight I gained.

.

.

.

over Christmas, so still a bit of work to do.

But I'm getting closer and that's the main thing and I realise.

.

.

I stated a few weeks ago that I lost 80% of that.

And I realised that I made an error in my calculation.

.

.

.

it's what happens when I'm writing all my stats down late at night when I'm a bit tired.

Based on this week's weight loss result, it means my Body Mass Index (BMI) goes from 48.

2 down to 48.

And if we look at my third weight loss target; Last week it was 54.

3% complete and after the loss it goes up to 55.

7% complete.

So in the 224 weeks I've been doing this journey, I've lost a total of; 179 pounds which is 81.

2 kilograms or 12 stone 11 pounds.

Next week is pretty much going to be.

.

.

full of the same stuff, during a lockdown period.

You know; the past two, three, four weeks of lockdown.

.

.

.

five weeks, four weeks.

Yeah not much to do.

.

.

.

gonna keep up with my walking the best I can and try and make sure I fit in that fluid consumption.

Because I always struggle to drink.

.

.

.

enough whilst at home, It's strange but that's a true fact.

.

.

I don't know why.

Calorie consumption wise.

.

.

I think I'm gonna be okay on that front.

Errrr; yeah I think I'll be alright.

Tomorrow the 27th of April is my 36th birthday.

Obviously It's during the lockdown, so I'm not gonna be able to go for my normal meal at a restaurant.

or should I say I normally go for a couple of meals out for my birthday.

.

but that ain't gonna happen.

It's just gonna be at home, obvious I'll do my walk.

.

.

but other than that, it's gonna be.

.

.

.

.

.

quiet, a quiet birthday.

And I can't foresee the being any restaurants open for potentially the rest of the year.

You might be able to get takeout, but.

.

.

.

You're not gonna be able to go into an actual social environment restaurant, I don't think for the rest of this year anyway.

Errrrmm yeah but other then that guys, that is it.
